Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my mattress?
Measure from the top of your mattress to the bottom seam, including any topper. Up to 12 in fits easily. 13-14 in is a snug fit. Over 14 in, this set isn't the right match because the fitted sheet pocket is 14 in. The Queen comforter hangs about 14 in on each side.
Is polyester hot to sleep under?
The comforter is light, so most people use it year round. Microfiber sheets hold a bit more warmth than cotton percale. If you sleep very hot, you may prefer cotton sheets in summer and the comforter on top.
Will the sheets pill?
Heat is what causes microfiber to pill. Wash cold on gentle and tumble dry low, and the fabric stays smooth. A care card in the box has the steps.
Why does the comforter look flat when it arrives?
It ships vacuum-packed to save space. Give it 24-48 hours to fill back out, or tumble dry on low for 15-20 minutes with dryer balls.
Does it smell when I open it?
New sets can carry a packaging smell. One cold wash of the sheets and an hour of air for the comforter clears it.
Does black show lint and pet hair?
Yes, light hair shows on Midnight and Graphite. It lifts off easily with a lint roller, and cold washing keeps lint from building up. If you have a white-coated pet, Cloud hides it best.
Is the color the same as the photos?
Our color photos are taken in daylight without filters. Forest is a deep green that looks close to black at night.
